Flu Campaign 2020In the next few weeks we will be communicating our plans for the 2020 Flu campaign. Please look out for information providing dates of our Flu clinics. This year we will have to manage our clinics differently in order to adhere with social distancing and to ensure that both staff and patients are safe. As a result it is likely that we will be asking you to queue outside the building. It is important, therefore, that you do not arrive early for your appointment and that you dress appropriately for the prevailing weather conditions at the time.
Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and/or December, providing there are sufficient vaccines available, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first i.e. those who are over 65 and those who are 18-64 AND who suffer from a chronic health condition. If you are 50-64 and your chronic health condition means that you are in one of the groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
